hello from the 'mo

I moved again, this time into a storage locker downtown, while I travel around for a bit. I've been visiting my hometown for the past week, which is still home to my parents, grandparents, and one of my brothers. It's great because it's free, and also I love my family but mostly because it's free.

I'll be back in Vancouver for work for a few days starting tomorrow, and I haven't decided where to go after that. Vancouver certainly has advantages; most of my friends are in the big city, as well as 24-hour breakfast restaurants and giant candy stores, all within walking distance. Staying with family requires me to sacrifice a few freedoms and vices along with my social life. And while it's nice to visit my relatives, it's also nice to chug a bottle of wine while writing a blog post. It's only been a week and I already miss living in Vancouver.

But my parents have an empty 25-foot trailer parked behind their house and it has internet. So I guess I'll see you guys in a few months.

Idea:
- drive trailer to Vancouver
- steal CoV engineering department barricades
- park trailer in the middle of the intersection of Broadway & Granville
- place barricades
- spend several hours every day wandering around outside wearing construction gear
- problem solved
