Tired of Being Polite

The store I work at gets quite hot during the afternoon. Since there are no customers in the store 95% of the time, I keep the fan beside the cash register pointed directly at me.

customer: It's really hot in here.

me: It is.

customer: why is the fan directed at you only?

me: oh, this isn't for comfort. In fact, I'm a little chilly. I just look so much better with my hair blowing in the wind.
