office supplies

Today at work, I was in the supply room looking for a new notebook, and I noticed several unopened packs of glue sticks. I work in tech, but we have non-tech departments -marketing, sales, etc. But I still can't imagine who needs glue sticks to do their job. Anyway, I've decided to add to the craft supplies. Starting with poster paints and crayons, then glitter, googly eyes, coloured popsicle sticks, pipe cleaners, and so on. I'll stop when I get caught.

I was reading an email about an event on August 14th, and I thought to myself, "Am I free on the 14th? I think I've got something on the 14th. What's happening on the 14th ...oh, that's right. The milk expires on the 14th."

And I felt so thoroughly, boringly, middle aged.
