conversations with the family

So I've neglected my blog for a while, but I think you'll forgive me since I've been working nonstop and going to funerals on my days off. I did get to visit with my brothers for a few days last week, which was the highlight of the month, and also gave me the opportunity to make an ass of myself.

A few years ago, my brother's friend Steve was at my mother's house and left a box of his clothes in the basement. When I found it at Christmas, I took some t-shirts and boxer shorts, since I like free clothes and occasionally like to wear boxer shorts. I happened to be wearing them when my brother asked me, in front of the family, if I had met his friend Steve. Without thinking, I said, "yes, and right now I'm wearing his underwear."

My older brother was coming from Ottawa and travelling up to the Northwest Territories for the summer. When Dan asked him if there are lots of hot girls in Ottawa, he said "yeah, but they're city girls ...still bangable, though."

I now have enough red shirts to do a load of laundry consisting entirely of red shirts.
